You can also enjoy the feudal atmosphere of Trauttmansdorff Castle: if you look at the impressively designed terraced grounds around the water lily pond and the dreamlike panorama of the Merano mountains or walk in the botanical garden, you will well understand that Empress Sissi also felt at home here. Today, the castle houses a museum for tourism that tells of 200 years of tourism history.
